Dr. Sills founded the company in 1993 growing the organization from Utilization Review to the comprehensive services provided today. He brings expertise in QIO and RAC audits, Adjudicatory Hearings, Medical Necessity appeals, and Medicare regulatory compliance.
Board Certified in Internal Medicine with 15+ years practicing in Hospital Medicine, Dr. Soderstrom joined C.F.R. in 2015 as a Physician Advisor. He has expertise in Medicare regulations, best practices in Case Management and Utilization Review, QIO audits, CDI, and coding.
With nearly 30 years of experience leading her field in medical coding, Lori Beaudry joined C.F.R. in 1995 bringing expertise in outpatient professional, facility, and procedural coding. She is an AHIMA credentialed Revenue Cycle Trainer and experienced in EMR transitions.
As Director of Operations, Cheryl brings her 15+ years of clinical nursing skills having joined C.F.R. in 2011. Cheryl is an AHIMA Approved ICD 10 CM/PCS Trainer and Certified Clinical Documentation Specialist. Cheryl delivers consistent results with dedication to our CDI clients.
Linda Novotny joined C.F.R. in 2003 and brings extensive experience in inpatient coding and ICD 10 CM/PCS education. An expert in coding guidelines, Linda is a resource to our staff and our clients. She oversees the division of inpatient coding and DRG Validation.
Suzanne joined C.F.R. in 2017 bringing 26 years of experience in clinical nursing for critically ill, CDI, and coding. Suzanne oversees the Denial and Appeals Division for inpatient and outpatient facilities covering procedural denials, medical necessity denials, and DRG revisions.
